Plumbing & Heating Apprentice

Salary: Year 1 - £ 12,500 / Year 2 - £15,500/ Year 3 - £18,500/ Year 4 - £21,500

Location: Sunderland

Contract Type: Fixed Term

Additional: 4 Year Fixed Term Apprenticeship Full Time 36 hours per week

About the role

Main Duties:

• To complete the Apprenticeship Training Programme
• To complete the full range of plumbing related tasks associated with the repair, maintenance and refurbishment of our properties (under supervision)
• To complete a range of commercial installation related tasks
• Undertake a programme of training rotation to become fully competent in associated trade discipline e.g. gas servicing
• Undertake a programme of multi-skilling
• To attend in-house training and college as and when required
• To develop excellent working relationships with colleagues and support them when required
• To develop excellent working relationships with colleagues and positively engage in team meetings

Experience, Qualifications or Training

• Must have a minimum of 4 Grade 4 (C) GCSE’s (or equivalent) including both Maths and English

• Must be able to meet the travel requirements for the post
