About the role

We would love someone to join us in our Transformation & Technology department and become part of a diverse, inclusive team of talented developers and analysts.

We are looking for an experienced Database Developer who has worked extensively with SQL Server and proven success in developing data models and ETL solutions. DBA experience would also be advantageous.

This is a key role within the team, offering autonomy regarding the approach to creating and maintaining the data architecture underpinning our systems. The post holder will be responsible for the strategic direction of our database technology and approach to data warehousing, along with supporting the delivery of our business intelligence offering.

Working within the Scrum framework, reporting directly to the Head of Technical Delivery, the post holder will work closely with systems and business analysts within the wider Transformation & Technology department, along with colleagues across the business. The ability to understand the needs of the business, whilst making complex solutions easily comprehensible is critical.

This is an exciting and rewarding role within a forward-thinking team who are always looking at innovative ways of delivering fantastic solutions within the business and evolving the sector at large.

We don’t just offer great benefits like a competitive salary and generous pension scheme; we understand how important it is to achieve the ideal work/life balance and to support this we offer flexible working, 29 days holiday and a 36 hour working week.
